First of the summer Pony Club Camps went well all last week with lots of happy campers in the mini X-country arena. Those surviving the first night got a hot chocolate delivered in the morning, but as numbers camping soon exceeded the number of cups in the house, that service had to be curtailed!

The Muck Heap - more. The second bay is finished and the site looks so much better with the growing pile better managed, may build a third bay for the winter when all horses and ponies are in.

THE MUCK HEAP Eugh!!  What a delight it is to have the muck heap taken away by Rob, now we can get on with the new 'system' and hopefully make the site more welcoming and the management of poo more scientific. Rob will be taking the muck away at regular intervals as the bays fill. One bay built so far and the other will be the other side of the ramp so they can be used alternatively, with the 'resting one' settling - then turn and turn about till Rob takes one away. Do help keep it tidy by; forking up and back, by flattening the top and keepng the area in front and the ramp clear.

DEPARTURES

Very sad to to lose Amber who at age 33 and after lots of loving care and cosseting, died last week.

Ollie too has gone, but only moved elsewhere.
